Dubliners Vinyl painted with an interlocking self-portrait. As the needle carves through the painted vinyl, the music becomes more understandable and a pattern of stripes appears in the self portrait. Reflecting on language, culture, and home, this work shows the push and pull for second generation people between cultures.
